"Many thanks for organising such a great event. We thoroghly enjoyed our first visit to the Dordogne and of course the racing at Angouleme which had us spell bound.Making new friends and catching up with old friends is always enjoyable and this tour was no exception. The combination of cars, the racing, fantastic scenery and atmospheric hotels made for a very memorable few days in France. Many thanks to you both for making it possible."

Yes we made it back, spent too long over lunch at Sees. Too many Gendarme to speed to the Ferry, although the fine probably would have been cheaper, ( only a 4 berth cabin left on the 11:30 pm sailing !!
Once again we had a great time, met new friends and enjoyed everyone's company. I hope you understood my sense of humour and no one was offended !!
We apologize for not meeting with you on the last few nights.
Tuesday night we ate in our favourite restaurant in Brantome and returned late to our Hotel.
Wednesday we stayed at our usual Hotel in Langais where the Family invited us to their Restaurant. Our intention was to drive to meet you all ( about 8 miles ) and parked the car in their garage ready to drive off. Unfortunately, some late arriving clients blocked me in.

'I considered ringing to ask for a lift but I thought death would be a better option !!! )

Thank you Mike and Brian for organising, once again, a wonderful trip.
We look forward to the next Tour, Home or Away, and meeting with our friends !

The Blog site is great as is the www.circuit-des-remparts visitors site comments !
